Understand how educating drivers and community members can contribute to safer conditions for walking and how both education and law enforcement methods can improve behavior. Hear examples of ways to encourage walking where appropriate.
Time: 1.5 minutes
Prepare for and take a walk to observe pedestrian and driver behavior and look at the physical environment.
Time: 3 minutes
Synthesize observations from the walk and consider how to help a community take action.
Provide feedback on the workshop process and content.
